IRON MAIDEN EN COLOMBIA: SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR 2008

(Noticia en Redacción)¿Quién pensaría repetir o superar un fenómeno en vivo como Metallica? ¿Alguna vez imaginaste ver a Harris, Dickinson, Murray, Smith, Gers y McBrain en Bogotá? Evenpro, empresa número uno en entretenimiento en América Latina, hace posible este sueño de más de 3 décadas en nuestro país. Colombia será el quinceavo país que tendrá el privilegio de ver este show, perteneciente a su gira “Somewhere back in time World Tour”, completamente en vivo. De contemplar paso a paso la llegada de la doncella de hierro que durante 45 días estará arrasando y enloqueciendo a más de 400.000 fanáticos en más de 21 ciudades, viajando 50.000 millas en su boeing 757, piloteado por su vocalista: Bruce Dickinson.

Como dato particular, este concierto, el cual se realizará en el Parque Simón Bolivar, tendrá el toque mágico que sólo Iron Maiden puede darle. El montaje escénico y técnico recreará elementos egipcios que nos remontarán a su gira perteneciente a su álbum “Powerslave”. Según Steve Harris, la banda se encuentra muy emocionada y ansiosa por conocer el público colombiano, es importante para ellos, en vista que es su primera vez en Bogotá, reconociendo que Sur América ha sido un gran apoyo para toda la carrera artística de la agrupación y que la persistencia de muchos de sus fans en nuestro país, logró promover aún más su visita:



Palabras de Steve Harris para Colombia:“This is great news and we're all very excited about the fact we're going to Bogota, Columbia for the first time. It's always great to get to new places - which is very hard when you've been touring around the world for as long as we have, and we've always had fantastic support from fans in South America over the years. So much so that I personally count them as probably the most passionate fans we have anywhere in the world. Recently we've been trying to get to new places, such as India and Dubai earlier this year for example, and now having the plane for ourselves we can almost pick and choose on this tour where we can go and that means getting to places like Columbia and also nearby Costa Rica that we've always wanted to visit and play where the fans have asked us to. It's a great opportunity as well for people to see us perform what a lot of our fans regard as our classic songs that span a history of which no one in Columbia has ever seen before so I think the news that we're getting there is going to blow their minds”
